Keep your project on track with Matrak's powerful reporting tool! Our custom reports page allows you to easily drill down to the finest details, so you can make sure everything is running smoothly.

But that's not all - Once you've filtered and edited the fields in your report, why not share it with your clients, collaborators or internal teams?

In this article we will explain:

Tip: You can use the above links to 'jump' to areas of the article you might specifically be looking to learn about. We've added a 'Back to navigation' link at each section header to quickly come back to this navigation menu.

How to export reports to an Excel or .CSV file:

By exporting your report to an Excel or .CSV file, you can easily share your report with anyone in your project network that does not have access into Matrak.

Sharing reports such as defect reports, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) checklists, and shipping reports can be incredibly useful for ensuring that everyone involved in a project is on the same page and has a clear view of progress tracking.

Here's a breakdown of a copy of your reports:

1. Click the download arrow [⬇] on the top of your report.

2. Select whether you want to download the report in either a CSV or Excel format, then click the blue download button to download your report.

How to share reports with your team and collaborators:

With our share reports function, you can easily duplicate your report and send it to others in your company or even external collaborators.

Sharing reports such as defect reports, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) checklists, and shipping reports can be incredibly useful for ensuring that everyone involved in a project is on the same page and has a clear view of progress tracking.

Here's a breakdown of how to share your reports:

Step one:

First click the Share Report button on the top of your report.

Step two:

Use the first search bar to search for the company you wish to share your report with, or choose a company and collaborator on your project to share your report view with.

In this example we've chosen to share the report with a member of our own company. Now I can use the second search input to search for users on this project to send my report to.

Step three:

Once you've added the chosen company and users, you can use the Share Report button to send your report. This will automatically duplicate your report view in their own Custom Reports page.

Note: This is a duplicate report, any changes they make to the filters or fields will not affect your report view.

By sharing reports and data with your team and collaborators, you can ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals and is aware of any issues or concerns that may arise. To learn how to create custom reports for your own project, we've created a comprehensive knowledge base article that breaks down all the powerful functions on the custom reports page.
