How to move records across projects from the Customs Reports page

The Move records across projects function enables customers to easily manage recycled materials.

By using this feature, customers have the ability to access and search data across various projects using the Custom Reports page. This empowers seamless monitoring and the streamlined transfer of items to specific projects via the move items function, ensuring a cohesive and efficient materials lifecycle management experience.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Moving Records Between Projects:

  1. Navigate to the Custom Reports page from Matrak's web application.

  2. Select which materials you want to move to another project by hovering over those materials. A new 'Move Project' button will pop up.

  3. Select the 'Move Project' button which allows authorised users to begin the transferring of items between projects.

  4. A popup window will appear to specify which project you'd like the selected items to be transferred to. This window also includes the ability to specify the status of these items once the transfer is complete.

  5. New entries in the Activity Log will provide detailed information about the movement of items between projects. This includes the name of the destination project, the user responsible for the action, and the timestamp.

  6. Once transferred, items will retain all description values, photos, attachments and activity logs. Items will no longer be associated with any interactive drawings, however, can be made visible on drawings by linking to destination locations on the drawings.
