How to invite a new company to your project

Collaborate seamlessly with your stakeholders by inviting companies to your project account.

Inviting new companies to your Matrak project network is a simple process that can be done via the website or mobile app. This feature enables you to collaborate and share data with various companies and their personnel, making it easier to manage materials and track progress on your project.

As a Matrak user, you have the flexibility to invite multiple companies to your project account, making collaboration with your stakeholders more seamless.

Inviting companies to your project account gives them permission to view and edit data on your project.

Note: You can manage, modify and revoke user access and privileges of every user on your project from the "User management" tab in the "My Companies" page on the web application.

To streamline this process, Matrak provides a user-friendly feature that allows you to easily invite new companies who do or don't have a Matrak account yet to gain access to your project.

To invite a new company to your Matrak project account that is not registered with Matrak,

As a Matrak user, you have the flexibility to invite multiple companies to your project account, making collaboration with your stakeholders more seamless. Inviting companies to your project account gives them permission to view and edit data on your project.

Step-by-step instructions to invite a new company to your Matrak project account that is not registered with Matrak:

  1. Navigate to Project Settings page from the side bar menu

  2. Select the the “Invite New Company” tab

  3. Enter the company email address of the person at the new company you would like to invite into the text box and select “Invite”.


  4. You will be prompted with a pop-up window. Here you'll need to fill in the required information (email is mandatory) in the form. Selecting "yes" will send the new company an invite to join your project and Matrak.

Once this user has registered their company on Matrak, they will instantly gain access to this project.

Note: The number of companies you can add to your project account will depend on your subscription tier.

To invite a company that's already registered with Matrak into your project account:

As a Matrak user, you have the flexibility to invite multiple companies to your project account, making collaboration with your stakeholders more seamless. Inviting companies to your project account gives them permission to view and edit data on your project.

You can modify or revoke their access anytime from the Project Settings page.

Step-by-step instructions to invite a new company to your Matrak project account that is already registered with Matrak:

  1. Navigate to the Project Settings page from your side bar.

  2. Select the Invite New Company tab.

  3. Enter the name of the company you wish to invite into the text box. Choose the correct company from the dropdown list that appears.

  4. After selecting the company from the dropdown list, click the "Invite" button.

  5. A confirmation pop-up message will appear. Click "Yes" to send an invitation to the new company, inviting them to join your project and Matrak.

Note: The number of companies you can add to your project account will depend on your subscription tier.

After inviting new companies to your project, the next important step is to correctly set their permissions and/or advanced permissions. It is especially important to consider that all new companies are given, at a minimum, full view access to all record fields when invited to a project.
