Inviting new companies to your Matrak project network is a simple process that enables you to collaborate and share data with various companies and their personnel, making it easier to manage materials and track progress on your project.

As a Matrak user, you have the flexibility to invite multiple companies to your project account, making collaboration with your stakeholders more seamless. You can modify or revoke their access anytime from the Project Settings page.

Tip: You can modify or revoke their access anytime from the Project Settings page. Learn more about how to update project access for users on your project here.

Step-by-step instructions on how to invite companies to your Matrak project workspace

  1. Navigate to the Project Settings page: Access the Project Settings page by navigating from your side bar in Matrak's web application.

  2. Select the "Invite New Company" tab.

  3. Enter the name of the company you wish to invite: Type the name of the company into the text box. If the company is already on Matrak, their name will appear in a dropdown list.

  4. Choose the correct company from the dropdown list: If they appear, click the correct company name from the list, and click the invite button to send an invite. An invite confirmation pop up will appear, selecting yes will invite that company to join your project workspace.

  5. If they don't appear, it means they don't have a Matrak account: If you type in the company name and it doesn't appear in the drop down list, select the invite button and a pop up box will appear where you'll need to complete the form with the requested information before sending an invite to that company

Note: The number of companies you can add to your project account will depend on your subscription tier.

What next?

After inviting new companies to your project, the next important step is to correctly set their permissions appropriately. At a minimum, new companies are given full view access to all record fields when invited to a project.
