Remove access for any member in your project

Effective user access management is crucial for the security of your construction project data. Matrak enables admin users the ability to manage user access and privileges for every member involved in the project.

If you need to remove an internal colleague or an entire company and its members from your project, Matrak's website application provides an easy way to do so — so you can always maintain data security and preventing unauthorized access.

How to remove an internal colleague's access from your project

You can remove colleague access for internal employees you no longer wish to share project access to at any time.

To remove internal colleague access from your project:

  1. Simple navigate to the the 'My company ' page under the 'User Management' tab.

  2. Find the colleague you with to remove access for

  3. Click the trash bin icon in the row associated with the correct contact that you'd like to remove from your project

Note: This feature is only available to users with Admin access only.


How to remove an external company and all of its members access from your project:

If subcontractors and external company's involvement on the project no longer required, you can easily remove their access to ensure data privacy and security.

To remove external companies and members from your project:

  1. To get started, navigate to the 'Project settings' page and click on the 'User access' tab.

  2. Here, you will see a list of all users who currently have access to your project. Locate the company and its members that you wish to delete, and select 'No Access' for all users associated with that company.

  3. Once you grant 'No Access', the selected company and all of its selected members will no longer be able to access the project.

Note: This feature is only available to users with Admin access only.

This ensures that your project data and information remain secure and only accessible to the appropriate team members.
