Matrak's Custom Reporting page offers a convenient solution to create comprehensive defect lists, allowing you to track and address issues efficiently. Follow the steps below to generate a defect list using Matrak:

Step-by-step instructions on how to create a Defect Report:

  1. Log in to Matrak and navigate to the Custom Reporting page.

  2. Select the relevant project you wish to create the defect list for.

  3. Navigate to the 'Custom Reporting' page,

  4. Select the '+' configuration button in the top left corner of the page the for creating a new report.

  5. Select the 'All defect report' template from the drop down list which is a custom template specifically for defect tracking.

  6. Specify the fields and information you want to include in the defect list report, such as defect description, location, severity, assigned responsible party, and any additional relevant details.

  7. Configure any filters or sorting options to narrow down the defects based on specific criteria, such as trade, location, or status.

  8. The generated report will display all the identified defects, along with the associated information and details.

  9. If needed, you can further customize the report by adding comments and additional information by double clicking the comment column

  10. Share the defect list report with relevant parties to facilitate effective communication and prompt resolution of identified issues. by selecting the share report or download buttons located at the top of the report.
