Uploading your drawings is the essential first step towards harnessing the full potential of Matrak's interactive capabilities.
Interactive drawings bring a new level of efficiency and collaboration to construction projects. By uploading your own architectural drawings, you can initiate a seamless project kick-off and unlock the numerous benefits that Matrak has to offer.
Once uploaded, Matrak's team of experts will transform your static drawings into dynamic, interactive versions, enabling you and your workspace teams to make real-time changes directly on the drawings within the Matrak platform. This streamlined process eliminates the need for manual updates and provides an intuitive way to visualize and manage project details.
To kick-start your construction project by uploading your project drawings:
Open the Matrak desktop dashboard and navigate to the 'Plans/Drawings' page on the left-hand side.
Click on '⋮ more' button and then select 'Upload Drawings" to access the upload interface.
Drag and drop your PDF architectural drawings into the pop-up window. Wait for the files to load, and you'll see them listed in the middle of the screen.
In the 'Additional Information' section, provide a clear description of the desired information to be captured from the drawings. Include details about the naming conventions and IDs of the materials.
Example Request: "Please find attached the east elevation for the building. We would like to capture the cladding on this elevation.
Material ID - C.05 represents Bold Cream Cladding
Material ID - C.04 represents Dark Grey Metallic Cladding."
Once all the necessary drawing information is provided, click the 'Upload' button.
The uploaded drawings will be sent to [email protected]. Our internal architects will then begin making the drawings interactive and loading in all the materials.
Please allow up to two weeks for this process to be completed. You will receive an email when your drawings are ready and interactive.
