Matrak's latest feature enhancement brings you advanced export PDF functionality, offering users the ability to generate individual PDFs for each item. With this powerful tool, the data you meticulously create in your reports can now be easily transformed into comprehensive PDF documents.

Whether you're handling ITP's, QA checks, Safety and Compliance Documentation, Defect Reports, or Packing Lists, Material Requisitions and Orders, our new export PDF functionality ensures that your data is effortlessly presented in a visually appealing and highly readable format.

Step one:

Log in to your Matrak account and navigate to the "Custom Reports" page.

Step two:

Create or select the report that you want to export. Apply filters and show or hide properties as needed to refine the report data.

Use the filter function to filter your report by Record Type or any relevant descriptions

In this example we're going to select 'Facade ITP' from the Record Type dropdown list.

Use the properties menu to turn on or off fields you want to export in your report, such as dates, comments and photos. Every column in your report will be represented as a row in your exported PDF.

You can also turn on linked records such as tasks, locations or containers using the related and lookup functions.

Step three:

Ensure that the columns displayed in the report provide the information you want to include in the PDF. Review and customize columns and their order if necessary.

Step Four:

  1. You can either export your entire report, or select one or many rows in your custom report to export selected records.

Once you have made your selection, simply click the 'download' button, select 'PDF', and click 'Download Report'.

Step Five:

A settings pop-up will appear showing what records you have selected in your report, if you have selected no records, it will default to 'Entire Report'.

If you would like to only export one or many records you can close this pop-up and select the specific rows you would like to export.

One you have your selections made simply click 'Export Report'

Step Six:

A Download Status Bar will appear in the bottom right of your screen, this will indicate the progress of your export as it's being generated and prepared for download.

Depending on the complexity of the report and the amount of data, the PDF generation process may take some time. A loading indicator or progress bar will keep you informed of the export's progress, you can show or hide this status bar and continue with your work, it will remain there whether you navigate to other pages.

Once the export is complete the header of this status bar will updated to 'Exports Complete', click 'Download' to download your report.
