How to Manage Packing Lists in Your Custom Reports

Create packing lists in your Custom Reports using the Group by filter view. This feature enables your report to display deliveries with all associated containers and materials, rendering clear and detailed views that mimic your original packing lists


How to create a customised packing list:

Create packing lists from Matrak report template

  1. Navigate to your custom reports page from your lefthand sidebar menu

  2. Click on the Create new report button on the top left of your screen

  3. Click on the 'Packing List report'. This will quickly generate a generic packing list report with a hierarchy view.

Create packing lists via Group by filter

  1. Navigate to your custom reports page from your lefthand sidebar menu

  2. Filter the record type to deliveries.

  3. Select the groupby filter view

  4. Toggle on the groupby relationship view. This will generate a generic packing list report.

  5. If you wish to further filter your report to include specific information, navigate back to the groupby filter view

  6. Under the Group By Relationship section, choose the specific information you wish to display. This will allow you to generate a packing list that matches your desired format.

  7. Download and share your packing lists into Excel by selecting the Export button on the top right banner of your report. Export packing lists will render a view very similar to your original packing lists

Tip: While in this Group By view, you can also update the status and various items as needed.


Managing your packing lists saves time by allowing you to quickly identify and verify the contents of each delivery. Easily track and manage the movement of materials and containers, ensuring that nothing is overlooked or misplaced.
